On September 1, 2012, we hosted our third annual “First Press of the Season.” We had one of our largest turn-outs to date–DLC owner and orchardist, Rob Miller, estimates over 1,000 people stopped by the farm! Visitors tasted our hard and fresh cider, went on tours of the orchard, picked apples, watched demonstrations by beekeeper Rick Nestler, listened to presentations on the Civil War history of the farm, and ate seafood and ice cream (provided by our friends at JB Seafood and South Mountain Creamery).
